Impact provides a balanced approach to data integration, facilitating both control and flexibility. By synchronizing LSAR and S1000D™ data sources, Impact allows each system to work independently, but in concert with one another, eliminating duplication of effort in creating information and managing changes. The seamless change management solution ensures that changes in engineering data are tracked and implemented by technical publication departments, so that documentation is up-to-date, accurate and produced in a timely manner. Publish S1000D™ source data into other format outputs, print materials
Robust, easy-to-use Looseleaf, Change Page and S1000D™ publishing program that efficiently produces or transforms structured Data Modules (DM), making it simple to go from S1000D™ XML to PDF or print. The software converts <refdm> elements to PDF links, automatically naming and numbering according to the position of source files -- yeilding an interactive PDF file. Preliminary content is automatically generated for book-type manuals from the DM content. Change Page Management functions support the document lifecycle, with the software generating point pages and paragraph breaks to eliminate domino effect changes. The program also supports dual column languages and multi-volume publishing. |

Information users feel at ease and proficient in a familiar browser-based environment, complete with annotations, bookmarks, search, and other advanced features, including referencing or linking to external data. This approach makes it unnecessary to install costly software on the user’s machine. Interact’s unique deployment configuration supports both connected and disconnected operations. A flexible publishing capability to see the same format on screen as the PDF, ensures a familiar look for the user throughout the viewing process. Printing from Interact has the same look and feel as documents printed from the authoring environment. Stylesheets for each S1000D™ Data Module (DM) type are provided and can be customized. |

Transforms Granular S1000D™ publication data to SCORM® courseware
Solution delivers a disciplined system to unlock the S1000D™ data within a Data Module (DM), reorganize and transform it into SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) courseware. Developers utilize Instructor to author Training Content (TC) from S1000D™ data, publish SCORM-conformant output, and to manage both. The software also allows incorporation of movies, audio, Adobe® Flash animations, and trainer-authored content. With Instructor’s granular reuse process, data is accessed at a very detailed level -- even more refined than an S1000D™ DM. Courseware is easily customized to meet training requirements, ensuring consistency between e-Learning material and technical publications. |
