S1000Dinstructor is comprised of two components one which is installed into Horizon and the other as a plug-in to the Arbortext® Editor™.

For the component that is installed into Horizon, the system requirements over and above what Horizon requires are:

Server Hardware

• Disk Space: 10 MB plus additional space for publishing content

Server Software

• Horizon as host application

For the component that is installed a plug-in to the Arbortext Editor, the system requirements over and above what the Arbortext Editor requires is:

Client Hardware

• Disk Space: 25 MB plus additional space for previewing content

Client Software

• Arbortext Editor 5.2+ as host application
• Horizon plug-in to the Arbortext Editor

S1000Dinstructor also supports integration with S1000Dmanager and S1000DauthorPro. The system requirements above do not include additional resources required by these products.
