S1000Dtransition requires several other software applications to be installed on the same machine. The system requirements over and above what these applications require is:

Hardware

• CPU: 2.5 GHz minimum (dual processor recommended)
• RAM: 4 GB minimum
• Display: 1024x768 minimum (1280x1024 recommended)

Software

• OS: Windows® (2000, XP)
• Arbortext® Editor™ with Print Composer 5.1, 5.2, or 5.3
• Adobe® Acrobat® Standard or Professional 6+
• S1000DauthorPro v3.2.2+ for users who don't need admin rights. Admin users require only v2.0.9+.
